Racial Injustice Image

At Genesco, it is our goal to be inclusive by embracing all cultures, ethnicities, backgrounds, orientations, and perspectives not only amongst ourselves but also with our shareholders, customers, vendors and communities where we operate.

In addition to compliance with statutory and measures such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act, Genesco actively supports and sponsors organizations such as the Human Rights Campaign Foundation that promotes equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual transgender and queer people, the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund fighting for racial justice, Nashville PRIDE and the Nashville LGBT Chamber of Commerce advocating for the LGBTQIA community, the YWCA and Women’s Fund supporting women’s rights, among others. Not only are these initiatives good business practices, they are integral to our core values.
